Orchid Hunting In The Kent Downs – Wildflower Photography Walk – Saturday 4th June 2022
Come and join me for an orchid hunting trip in the North Downs of Kent. We’ll be searching through rough grassland for the beautiful British native orchids that grow there. Whenever we find a new species of orchid I’ll be there to tell you all that I know about it. You’ll also get time to photograph it and I’ll be there to help you get stunning shots to help you remember the moment.
We’re hoping to see species such as the Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera), the Common Spotted Orchid (Ophrys insectifera), and the Pyramid Orchid (Anacamptis pyramidalis).
Our small group size with a maximum of 8 people will enable us to tread lightly and cause no damage to the wildflowers as we photograph. It will also allow me to spend time with each group member so that you get the most of of this wildflower photography walk.
- Workshop will run from approximately 11am-2pm
- Full details of where to meet will be provided around 2 weeks before the start of the photography walk
- Refreshments are not provided
