Orchid Hunting In The Surrey Hills – Wildflower Photography Walk – Saturday 26th June 2021
Come and join me in the Surrey Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We’ll be searching through rough grassland for the beautiful British native orchids that grow there. Whenever we find a new species of orchid I’ll be there to tell you all that I know about it. You’ll also get time to photograph it, and once again, I’ll be there to help you get stunning shots to help you remember the moment.
We’re hoping to see at least six different species including the Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera), the Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii), and the Greater Butterfly Orchid (Platanthera chlorantha).
Our small group size with a maximum of 8 people will enable us to tread lightly and cause no damage to the wildflowers as we photograph. It will also allow me to spend time with each group member so that you get the most of of this wildflower photography walk.
